# Chapter 178: Scent of Spring
Eun-seo caught the fragrance of blooming trees along the riverbank as she walked back to the pottery studio with Min-jun. The scent of spring mingled with the sound of flowing water, lifting her spirits. Her mind was full of thoughts about preparing for a new beginning alongside Min-jun. The riverside scenery and the murmur of villagers’ voices stirred her senses.
Min-jun walked beside her, his fingers gently brushing the budding branches. His hand movements seemed like he was playing music. Watching his hands move, Eun-seo found herself captivated by the warmth in his eyes. He smiled at her, and she returned his smile without hesitation.
“Min-jun, even though it’s not market day, it’s nice to see the villagers naturally gathering and talking to each other,” Eun-seo said. Her voice caught his attention.
“That’s because spring means new beginnings,” Min-jun replied, his voice warming her heart. “And new beginnings mean new possibilities.”
Eun-seo liked his words. She took his hand and walked along the riverside. The sound of the water and the returning calls of birds grew louder and clearer. Her thoughts were consumed with preparing for this new chapter with Min-jun.
“What should we make at the studio today?” she asked. The question caught his eye.
“How about we create something new?” Min-jun suggested, his hands already moving expressively. “Because new pottery means a new beginning.”
She liked his answer. Hand in hand, they headed toward the pottery studio. Warm sunlight streamed through the windows, and as Eun-seo watched Min-jun’s hands work, she felt her heart fill with anticipation for what lay ahead.
They began crafting together. His movements flowed like music, each gesture deliberate and graceful. The pottery gradually took shape, growing more refined with each pass. Eun-seo found herself lost in the moment, watching him create.
“Min-jun, today really is a beautiful day,” Eun-seo said softly. He paused, setting down his work to look at her. His gaze was warm and gentle.
“Yes, because spring brings new beginnings,” he replied, his voice tender. “And that means endless possibility.” He returned to his work, hands resuming their graceful dance.
Eun-seo held his hand, gazing around the sun-filled studio. The warmth of the light matched the warmth in her chest. Her mind was full of him, of this moment, of the future they might build together. Spring had arrived, and with it came the promise of something new.
She watched his hands move with practiced ease, watched the way his eyes focused on the clay before him. Everything about this moment felt right—the light, the silence, his presence beside her. She squeezed his hand gently, and he glanced up, meeting her eyes with that same gentle warmth.
The pottery continued to take shape, growing more complete with each moment. Eun-seo’s heart was full. This was what she wanted—to stand beside him in this quiet space, to watch him create, to be part of his world.
“Today is truly a good day,” she whispered.
“It is,” Min-jun agreed, and in those simple words, she heard everything she needed to hear.
