# Chapter 125: A Spring Day in Hacheon

Eun-seo woke early and took a walk along the riverside path of Hacheon. The scent of spring drifted from the water, and laughter echoed across the banks. She had come to see Min-jun, to visit his workshop, and in doing so, discovered a spring more beautiful than she’d imagined. Her heart, it seemed, had already returned to this place.

As she walked, breathing in the fragrant air and listening to the voices of people enjoying the season, her mood lifted. The colors of spring surrounded her—new blossoms, gentle breezes, the promise of renewal. Everything here felt right.

The path eventually led her to Min-jun’s workshop. She arrived to find him at work, and his face lit up at the sight of her.

“Eun-seo, it’s been a while,” he said with a warm smile. “What brings you here today?”

“I just wanted to see you,” she replied, smiling back. “It’s wonderful seeing you so happy here.”

“I truly am,” Min-jun said, gesturing around the workshop. “Being here, meeting people, creating things—it’s a blessing I didn’t expect.”

She toured the space, admiring his work. Each piece spoke of his dedication and care.

“These are beautiful,” she said softly. “You should be proud.”

They spent the afternoon together, walking the riverside paths, watching the flowers sway in the breeze. The world felt smaller here—more intimate, more real.

“Today has been perfect,” Eun-seo thought to herself. Meeting Min-jun, seeing his world, witnessing his contentment—it reminded her why she belonged here too.

As they walked side by side, neither felt the need to speak much. The spring day said enough. The river bent gently around the village, just as their paths had bent toward each other, and in that moment, everything felt exactly as it should be.

“Thank you for today,” she said as the sun began to set.

“Thank you for coming back,” Min-jun replied.

And in that simple exchange, both understood: Hacheon was no longer just a place they visited. It was home.
