# Chapter 201: The Boundary of Darkness

Min-jun stared into the depths of his own mind, trapped within the darkness that Trap had created. One terrible truth crystallized before him: he couldn’t remember how long Trap had been running. More terrifying still—he couldn’t feel time passing anymore.

Trap had seized his heart completely. Every time cold air brushed against his skin, his body tensed, hyperaware of the threat. His pulse quickened in his chest. His hands curled into fists inside his pockets. The darkness seeped into his thoughts like ink through water, staining everything black.

At 2 a.m., Min-jun stood before a building. The sign read “Destar Entertainment.” This was where he’d come to chase his dreams.

For a moment, seeing the name lifted his spirits. The lobby welcomed him with warm air. He felt his heartbeat, steady and present. Yet his hands remained clenched in his pockets. The aroma of coffee and toast drifted through his nostrils. Warm wooden floors supported his weight. Voices echoed around him—people talking, living their lives.

But his heart remained trapped in darkness.

At 4 a.m., Min-jun entered a café. Warmth embraced his face. The barista greeted him kindly, placing a fresh orange juice before him. Her voice was gentle.

Still, the darkness held him.

He sipped the coffee, hoping the aroma and the ambient conversation might pull him free. But his heart raced. His hands trembled in his pockets. Trap’s darkness was relentless, coloring every thought, every sensation.

“Can I escape this?” he whispered to himself.

At 6 a.m., Min-jun walked the Seoul streets. Neon signs flickered in his vision. The city hummed with early morning energy. Bus engines roared past. Restaurants exhaled their aromas into the cool air.

Yet Trap’s grip never loosened.

Then his phone rang.

It was Junho.

“Min-jun, you’re trapped in Trap,” Junho’s voice came through steady and certain. “It’s coloring your mind with darkness. You have to break free.”

For a moment, Min-jun felt something shift. A crack in the wall.

But Trap’s darkness surged back, deeper than before.

“Can I really escape?” Min-jun muttered, his voice hollow.

His heart hammered. His hands wouldn’t stop shaking. The cold air bit at his skin. And the darkness—Trap’s darkness—continued its slow, relentless consumption of everything he was.

“Why is this happening?” he asked the empty night.

The city offered no answer.

Only silence. Only darkness. Only the question that echoed endlessly: How do I escape?

“I have to get out of here,” he said, gripping his resolve like a lifeline. “I have to survive this.”

But even as he spoke, he felt Trap tightening its hold, pulling him deeper into the abyss.
