# Chapter 132: Awakening Memory

Minjun replayed last night’s conversation with Seongjun over and over in his mind, his heart churning with conflicting emotions. He could still hear Seongjun’s voice echoing in his chest, and he found himself chasing after that sound, searching for himself within it. The night sky lay wrapped in deep darkness, and within that void, Minjun struggled to find his own existence—his heart tossing like a rough sea.

Then his childhood memories surfaced. He heard his father’s voice speaking to him: “Minjun, you have something special about you. You have to believe in yourself.” The memory stirred something in him, and his heart grew more tangled. He was searching for an answer to Seongjun’s words, his inner world turbulent as stormy waters.

Minjun picked up his phone. Seongjun’s voice flowed softly beside him, low and gentle, and gradually his heart began to settle. “Minjun, you have to believe in yourself. You have to believe.” He replayed those words in his mind once more, but his heart only grew more complicated. He was still grasping for an answer, still adrift.

The night pressed down in endless darkness. He heard the distant noise of the city streets, felt hunger gnawing at his stomach. The taste of the miso stew he’d eaten earlier still lingered on his tongue. Seongjun’s voice remained etched in his heart, and Minjun followed that voice, searching for himself within its cadence.

He had to find his heart. He wanted to fill it with warm light, wanted to hear Seongjun’s voice again. The city’s restless murmur reached his ears, and still he searched. What he was looking for, he thought, was faith in himself—love for himself, understanding of himself.

Then, in a moment of clarity, Minjun felt as though he’d finally grasped an answer to Seongjun’s words. He sensed how deeply Seongjun’s voice had carved itself into his heart, and he followed that voice further, searching. He picked up his phone again. Seongjun’s quiet tone flowed beside him, and his turbulent heart began to find peace.

“Minjun, you have to believe in yourself. You have to believe.” The words replayed in his mind, and once again his heart grew complicated. He was still reaching for an answer, still caught between doubt and hope. The night sky remained deep and dark, and within it, Minjun continued his search for himself.

He needed to find his heart. He wanted to fill it with warmth, needed to hear that voice once more. The city’s noise called to him, and he knew what he was truly seeking: belief in himself, love for himself, understanding of himself.
