The last week of the summer program. A showing is announced, parents invited. Woojin discovers the loop holds for a full scene — and his father says he will come.
The longer text reveals a new principle: the space must enter the body before the text can. Woojin realizes he has been doing this for three years — every stage plan was body work.
August: scene work begins. Three different partners, three different qualities of giving — and Woojin discovers that the window opens or closes depending entirely on what the partner gives.
Fourth week of training. Kim Sunhee introduces text for the first time — and the body that spent three years watching finds out what it already knew how to do.
Second week of training reveals an obstacle: the head arrives before the body. Kim Sunhee diagnoses what the watching built — and what it still cannot give.
July 2010. The training program begins. Kim Sunhee: body first, text later. Walking with full attention. Woojin feels the hollow floor through his heel. Kim Sunhee: your starting point is different — the watching is in the body. The method is not yet.
June 2010. Woojin reads about training in the theater book: watching and one performance are not enough. Park Jiyeon writes the tree’s perspective — the stranger’s speaking changed the road permanently. Father finds a children’s theater training program in Mapo.
May 2010. Father’s new production 문 앞에서 opens. Woojin watches from C-6 with the inside-knowing for the first time — and sees what he couldn’t see before: the body’s outside-memory, the moment the loop completes. Both sides, both knowing.
March 2010. 3학년 begins. New teacher Han Yeonsu — curriculum-first, less interference. The ginkgo buds seven days early: better watching, probably. Father’s new character stands at the threshold. The watcher changes.
